November 6th – get out and VOTE!

If you didn’t know, Morgan is helping Amy O’Connor get elected this coming November as Family Court Judge in Troy, NY.  Running a campaign takes lots of energy.  Long hours in the office, lit drops every few days, mailings and special events keep them all pretty busy.  Here is a POTD of Morgan outside of Amy’s headquarters doing what she does best.  ENJOY!

Brittany – Troy, NY

While teaching a class today for my meetup group, the Capital Region Photography Group, I got the chance to shoot a little.  Brittany was a model for the runway fashion show I shot back on my birthday.  We traded contact info afterwards and she has been a trooper posing for several meetup classes so far.  Here is what I captured in the 30 minutes we got to work together.  ENJOY!

Maira – Senior Session

Wow, what can I say….this is what photographers dream of.  Sometimes you just stumble across a spot and everything comes together.  That’s what happened to me this afternoon.  Maira really needed to make a major decision.  Let her school take her senior portrait or to have me take it.  I think she made the right decision, do you?  ENJOY and leave comments!

Rainbow over Learning – Hunter, NY

How ironic that there was a rainbow last night which ended in The Learning Center at Hunter Mountain.  This building welcomes thousands of people year in and year out and houses the very thing I started with in the ski industry, ski and snowboard instruction.  Morgan is still so passionate about teaching people the sport, she doesn’t even mention to people her “other” job.  Is this a sign? ENJOY!

Sun setting behind the mountain, Hunter, NY

As I walk to my car tonight, I quickly noticed the sun setting towards the West side of Hunter Mountain. There was so much contrast between the sky and the mountain, I just had to snap a few frames of it.  I also saw a rainbow which ended at the Learning Center.  I quickly captured that too but maybe I will save that one for tomorrow.  ENJOY!

Scotty’s Potato Pancakes – Wine & Brew Fest, Hunter, NY

If you have been to a festival at Hunter Mountain, you must have seen these two characters.  These guys have perfected the Potato Pancake and taken it to a whole new dimension.  It’s something you can’t explain but have to experience.  Morgan often wants me not only to bring some home, but not to forget the side of apple sauce  and sour cream.  When I forget, I get to sleep with Peep’s, which is not so bad, kinda peaceful.  Thank god I am a good boyfriend and bring them home often…..ENJOY!

Ready, Set, SNOW! – Windham, NY

Not sure about you but we are ready and waiting for the cold weather to arrive.  Forecasts for the next night or two are pretty chilly, about 32 they say for Windham, NY  I have 3-4 cords of wood stacked and ready for burning.  It’s such a please not to actually hear the furnace go on.  Are you ready?  ENJOY!

Are you ready for the cold?
