When I first met Dani and her family in the base lodge at Hunter Mountain, I knew this summit wedding was not going to be your typical wedding. Just by the questions from the bride to be, her sister and her mother, I knew that all of my team would have to be in attendance for this event.
Fourteen hours in duration, Dani and Justin had the wedding of their dreams. Beautiful weather, happy guests, great food and great times all captured by yours truly, Iannelli Photography.
Julie and Greg were amazing to work with. From their engagement shoot in Queens to their 3-day wedding weekend, these guys know how to celebrate. Hope you enjoy the video/images and don’t forget to leave comments below. ENJOY!
Amber, Tommie and I hit it off right from the very beginning. Having both of us grow up with skiing/snowboard as a lifestyle and booking their special day at the same place I just got married in May, to say the least it was a perfect match.
Fast forward a little now I see Tommie almost everyday and Amber is finally done with her exams. It’s great when you can not only capture those special moments that last a lifetime but also be good friends afterwards.
Twin Lakes Resort is a great backdrop for weddings. Offering both your ceremony and reception all in the same place makes it very easy and I knew exactly what I wanted to capture. ENJOY the video and images!
What fun we had photographing the wedding of Briana and Adam. The Lazy Swan was the perfect backdrop for this gorgeous couple to start their married life together. Adam and the boys dressed the part while Briana, her sisters and her all friends shared in the days activities.
More images to come but for now here are a few of our favorites.
Jennifer and Will got married last September on the Summit of Hunter Mountain. They were so much fun to work with and they had so many laughs at their reception. You can see it in the photographs Jennifer and Will picked for their album.
We absolutely love working with our album designer Mariya. She creates these amazing books for us and the designs just keep getting better and better. Leave your thoughts below about Jennifer and Will’s album design.
Liz and Anthony had such a special day. Great weather, great friends and a great location to start their new life together as husband and wife.
Most of you know that I knew Liz before. We first met at Paige and Nate Jones’s wedding about 2 years ago. We also see each other while she spends many hours/days working for Hunter Mountain and New York Zipline Adventures. When I found out she was getting married, I just had to talk with her. I did not want to lose this wedding to some other friend with a camera or another photographer.
Not knowing her groom at all, I wondered who was the lucky guy who won her over. I can honestly say that Anthony is a great guy. His nickname is “Slop” and he admitted to me that he and Liz watched TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress” every week for almost a year to make sure he was part of the selection process for Liz’s wedding dress. Wow, I thought I was the only male who watched that show! (Morgan hates when I put those kind of shows on)
I hope you agree that from the images Lana and I took, Liz’s dress was spectacular. It was perfect for her. Anthony and the guys tried their best to “suit up” and over time they too looked the part.
Well I hope you enjoy Liz, Anthony and Charlie’s big day (Charlie is their dog who walked down the aisle right before Liz) at the 1600′ Summit of Hunter Mountain and party at The Coppertree Restaurant. -J
What a spectacular night sponsored by Grand Marnier. Their slogan was “Paint the Mountain Red” and they sure did. Starting with a party in the base lodge featuring signature Grand Marnier drinks and music by Funk Evolution, Fire Dancers performing up on the slope, a Torch Light Parade from the Hunter Mountain Staff, a Laser Light show synchronized to music and Fireworks to finish the night off, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Here’s an extended video from the Fire Dancers that performed. Watch it in HD by clicking on the HD Logo in the video.

We had a great time hanging out at Hunter Mountain and photographing some wonderful kids this week. The 9 participants are all part of the Tomorrows Children Institute for Cancer and Blood Disorders in Hackensack UMC. There was skiing and snowboarding, tubing at high speeds, snowmobiling and big smiles all around. Volunteers from the Adaptive Sports Foundation worked hard to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves. Hunter Mountain Ski and Snowboard instructors also gave lessons and even taught some of the skiers and snoboarders how to ride rails and do jumps in the mini-park.
A big thank you to Russell and Lois Huntington who were the gracious hosts of this trip. As you can see from the happy faces, everyone had fun.
